FCLU PUBLIC NOTICE
FCLU is bringing to the public's attention a discrepancy involving mailing records referenced in the federal court proceedings of Dr. Lillie M. Coley. Camden District Court with Judge Edward Kiel 26-CV-02873-ESK
The Court administratively terminated Dr. Coley's appeal after stating that a mailing had been returned as undeliverable(docket #20 page 11). However, Dr. Coley possesses the envelope and documents that she received at her home address. That envelope reflects the correct zip code associated with her address and contains the March 23, 2026 postmark. (Docket 20 page 4 and 6)

By comparison, the envelope and return-mail information referenced in District Court appear to reflect a different zip code, 19127, rather than Dr. Coley's zip code of 19131. Enlarged copies of both envelopes, zip codes, and postmarks have been provided so that the public may independently review the documents.
The central question is straightforward: if the mailing relied upon by the Court reflects a different zip code than the address associated with Dr. Coley's received mailing, what explains the discrepancy? The documents currently raise questions regarding the source of the return-mail information and whether it corresponds to the same mailing referenced by the Court.
FCLU is not asking the public to draw conclusions. We encourage review of the enlarged exhibits, postmarks, zip codes, and docket history so that the facts may be evaluated independently. Transparency and accuracy in court records are matters of public importance and deserve careful review.
